From the buzzy cosmopolitan shores of trendy Tel Aviv, to the quieter stretches outside the city, Israel is one of the Mediterranean’s most exciting destinations. Boasting 300 days of sunshine a year, Israel has an incredible history and legacy. The city of Jerusalem, dating back almost 5,000 years, is home to the Dome of the Rock, the Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the al-Aqsa Mosque and as such has been a much-visited destination for religious groups. However it is fast becoming known for having one of the most vibrant food scenes in the world, thanks largely in part to hugely advanced agricultural technologies meaning restaurants can source some of the freshest ingredients, as well immersive and entertaining cooking theatre.
This highly unique itinerary will offer you a taste of some of the country’s most exciting food, history and architecture in an action-packed 10-day adventure.

Arrival in Tel Aviv with a VIP assistance and transfer to your hotel, then enjoy a welcoming dinner

Explore the southern and oldest part of Tel Aviv; with a tour of the bustling port city of Jaffa famous as a centre of historical events and home to one of Israel’s most famous export the; Jaffa orange. ‘Past, Present and Future’ dive into Israel’s rich and vibrant culinary scene followed by a “Green in the City”- growing Greens in the Urban Territory. Enjoy a tour of Levinsky Market a gourmand’s paradise with its range of flavors, spices, nuts, dried fruits and fusion cuisines is a cultural gem in the heart of the trendy neighborhood of Florentin. Then its off to visit Milk and Honey Israel’s first whisky distillery and a graffiti and art tour of Florentin. Then a visit to Sarona Market is Israel’s largest indoor culinary market. Spend the evening enjoying dinner at one of selected restaurants.

Start your day with a visit to the Museum of the Jewish People at Beit Hatfutsot, then Kuchinate- asylum seekers empowering centre followed by experiencing the African cafe tradition ‘Bonna” with African woman in south Tel Aviv. Then enjoy a cooking workshop with Chef Orel Kimchi at Popina restaurant followed by an evening spent in ‘Little Tel Aviv’ enjoy a down town restaurant tour and an optional night life tour of Tel Avi.

Visit Caesarea National Park/ Nahal Mea’arot nature reserve one of, if not Israel’s, most impressive archaeological sites. Then visit Amphorae winery and discover the local wines of Carmel region followed by a visit to Bahai Gardens on Mount Carmel in Haifa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy Druze hospitality with lunch in a local’s house in Carmel Area, then a Akko Hummus tour followed by a historical tour of the Old City. Enjoy a tasting dinner at Uri Buri.

Starting the day with a Nazareth historical and market tour and olive oil tasting at Sindyanna of Galilee a unique non-profit organization led by a team of Arab and Jewish women. Then its off to visit Galilean family run Tahina factory and the ‘Leket’ project in Moshav Nahalal. The evening you will spend a celebratory dinner Bedouin style – hosted in locals’ tent for dinner and some local music.

Your day will include a “Buza” Ice-cream tasting at Kibbutz Sasa, then a tour of the ancient city of Safed. Lunch at “Kiayma” Hukuk, enjoy cooking with Chef Tal in his kitchen followed by a tour of his organic farm. Discover more about local social initiatives with a food drop across Galilee aimed at helping the young people in the region. Learn more about the political borders and agriculture with a tour near the Syrian borders, followed by a wine tasting at selected wineries and a visit of Talmudic Park at Katzrin. Transfer to Jerusalem (2hr)

Start the day with a visit to Temple Mount, seen as the holiest site for Jewish believers and the third holiest site for Muslims behind Mecca and Medina. Discover the old city of Jerusalem with a walking tour followed by lunch in one of the walled city middle eastern restaurants by ‘Chefs of peace’ led by 3 chefs; Christian, Muslim, Jew. Located in the Jerusalem Hills, Sataf is set in one of Israel’s most incredible landscape, discover the 2000 year old remains of the village and take a break from the city. Get a sense for the local produce with a goat milk and cheese tasting followed by a special dinner at Kedem Studio with Chef Kedem Ezra

Visit Masada an ancient fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site location high on a flat plateau above the Dead Sea. Then off to Ein Gedi; one of Israel’s premier hiking spots, featuring spectacular beauty, varied landscapes, and botanical gardens. End the day with a visit to the Dead Sea known in Hebrew as Yam Ha-Melakh (the Sea of Salt) is the lowest point on earth, surrounded by the stunning landscape of the Negev Desert.

Yad Vashem is Israel’s official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust, it may not fun to visit, but is somewhere that we recommend all visitors to Israel experience. From there you will enjoy a Jewish Ashkenazi Ultra-Orthodox food tour in Mea Shearim. Then Enjoy a cooking class and tour in Mahane Yehuda Market, with Chef Tali, including farewell dinner.
