The spa
The Aquum Spa is possibly the most unique spa in the world. Built entirely underwater, the vision was to create a completely different experience for its clientele. The signature experiences, Unite Me - Crystal Ritual and Turquoise Explosion, are highly recommended.
Facilities include underwater therapy rooms, including rooms for couples, relaxation lounge, steam, sauna, Jacuzzi, Hydro Pool, Rain shower and Bucket Shower areas, a fully equipped gym, a yoga pavilion, and open-air floatation pool and a restaurant serving spa cuisine.
Many of the spa treatments make the most of indigenous Maldivian ingredients, such as island coconut, lime and minerals, for an authentic experience.
As well as an extensive range of therapeutic massages and treatments for face and body, there is also a wellness menu including ear candling, reflexology, Reiki, Shirodhara (ayurvedic ritual) and personal gym training programmes.
