Indonesia is an exotic land lined with beautiful beaches, sprawling with jungle, interrupted by volcanoes and ringed coral reefs. Its enticing charm and cultural flavours pervades the many temples, the deep green rice fields, the dusty villages and mysterious forests.

Bali is one of more than 13,000 floating emerald islands that make up the world’s largest Archipelago. Ubud is the cultural capital, springing up from between the rice paddies and steep ravines of the Balinese foothills. The sheer number of temples is testament to the spirituality of the island and its people.

Lombok, however, is a more peaceful island, with blinding stretches of white beaches, divided by satisfyingly rugged outcrops. And if that’s not enough calm for you, take the one-hour boat cruise to the neighbouring Gili Islands where those of you who like to dive and snorkel will want to stay forever.
