Dining
The resort’s two restaurants located beside the cliff-top pool have been completely renovated and redesigned and offer an array of delicious dishes.
The B&G Restaurant has a menu of reinvented Portuguese cuisine, with an emphasis on local, quality produce, including its already famous gourmet menus of fresh, low-calorie recipes. This means that even dieters can indulge. Follow a fillet of red mullet with a strawberry and basil cappuccino.
The Terrace Grill is open in season, with fresh fish, seafood and summer barbeques, accompanied by live music.
Tonic Lounge Bar is located beside the cliff-top pool featuring an outdoor deck and magnificent sea views. Enjoy one of the exclusive cocktails.
Facilities
5 pools (including 2 with seawater) and one hydrotherapy pool. There is a well equipped gym, fitness programs, pilates, tai chi, aqua gym, sauna, steam room and 4 tennis courts. Within 30 minutes drive of the resort there is a golf course, water sports centre and a horse riding facility.
Deborah visited Vilalara during the summer 2010 and added on the thalasso supplement in order to try the additional daily treatments. This was definitely good value and worth considering as an additional to your choice of package.
