Round Hill, Jamaica

This fashionable hideaway, encased in its own golden beach and colourful lush gardens, has been attracting some of the biggest names in show business. Ever since Ralph Lauren left his famous designer stamp on this former pineapple, allspice and coconut plantation, Round Hill has been known for its style and luxury. There are 36 Ralph Lauren designed guest rooms in the Pineapple House, with large louvered windows which fold back to present an uninterrupted view of the Caribbean Sea. The 74 Suites are housed in 27 individually owned Villas dotted across the lush hillside and west facing to benefit from the glorious sunsets. Each spacious villa has its own housekeeper, who prepares a sumptuous breakfast, and most villas have private pools. The cuisine at Round Hill is creative and eclectic and peppered with a Jamaican flair. Ingredients from both the land and the sea are used in the dishes which are served in casual settings.

The spa

This stunning Elemis Spa captures the spirit and rhythm of Jamaica. The setting is equally as relaxing as the treatments. The rooms are located within a beautifully restored 18th century plantation house, set on 10-acres of beachfront lawn.

The facilities include an indoor and outdoor fitness centre, full service beauty salon, seven body treatment rooms as well as an outdoor treatment area, set amidst abundant gardens. The waterfront lawn is used for afternoon yoga classes or massages by the sea.

There are yoga retreats offered during some months throughout the year. A special “teens” spa menu is available for 12 – 16 year olds!

A light spa menu offering healthy options is served between the hours of 11:00 am and 5:00 pm daily.
