One&Only le Saint Geran, Mauritius

One&Only Le Saint Geran is an eminent haven of elegance on the Belle Mare Peninsula of Mauritius. At mealtimes you can discover why Le Saint Geran won the Conde Nast Traveller award for Best Hotel in the World for Food, with a Michelin-starred restaurant as well as casual dining choices.

'Prime' puts on a modern twist on the classic steak house. The combination of a slick and modern ambience and serving only the finest Australian Angus Wagyu beef, fresh seafood and organic produce makes for a memorable dining experience. The menu ranges from refined soups to whole hearted rib eye steaks.

The Michelin stared chef Vineet Bhatia has set up the atmospheric waterside restaurant 'Rasoi by Vineet.' This offers a unique and constantly changing tasting menu including Vineets own take on classic indian Dishes.

Each of the other restaurants offer something special for its guests so you might want to spend the entire holiday eating.

Two golf courses, a Peter Burwash tennis centre, the Matt Roberts fitness centre, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing, glass bottom boats, cross-country cycling, canoes, kayaks, hobie catamarans, pedaloes, water skiing, windsurfing. Kite-surfing is also available with instruction for beginners. The kids club is for children aged 4-11 and there is a teen club for those aged 12-18 years. Children aged 2 and 3 yrs will be allowed into the kids club if potty trained and if with a parent or nanny.
