Anassa, Cyprus

Looking out over one of the finest beaches in Cyprus all the way to the ancient baths of Aphrodite, Anassa sits majestically amid the rural Mediterranean countryside. There is a choice of three pools both outdoor and indoor pools making Anassa work equally well as a summer and a winter retreat. During your stay at the Anassa in Polis, Cyprus there is plenty to do, from nourishing the body at the spa, to taking a luxury sailing boat for a cruise round the Akamas Peninsula.

Accommodation

Choose between Studio Suites, Junior Suites and one and two-bedroom suites, all with panoramic sea views and some with their own plunge pools on the terrace. The 177 rooms are made of Garden View Rooms located in the main building which start at a spacious 41 sqm and offer king sized beds, Studio Suites, also located in the main building are 47sqm and offer a living area and full sea view. Garden Studio Suites are located in a separate annex and are surrounded by beautiful gardens and offer full sea views.

Guests wishing to spread out can take one of the Junior Suites, with or without a private pool. A generously sized 53 sqm have large sitting areas and magnificent sea views. Private pools are heated during the winter months.

Dining

The food at Anassa is seriously good. Basiliko is the signature gourmet restaurant of Anassa. With a stone staircase descending into a stone cavern, this is the perfect setting to enjoy a fine dining experience. The Cuisine ranges from French to Asian fusion. An exclusive nine course gourmet menu with wine pairing is offered once a week.

Helios serves contemporary French cuisine and other culinary delights including handmade pasta, fresh seafood, local and imported meats. Daily chef's menu and an extensive à la carte menu with healthy and vegetarian options are also available. Meals may be enjoyed on the outdoor terrace, weather permitting.

Amphora specialises in locally infused cuisine and fresh seasonal choices with daily changing buffet menus. Breakfast and buffet dinners are available here, as well as children's menus, and meals are served on the outdoor terrace, weather permitting.

Pelagos is Anassa's pool-side dining restaurant, and is the perfect setting for casual al fresco dining, featuring an open show kitchen with live cooking using a lava stone grill. The emphasis is on light Mediterranean cuisine, and freshly caught fish. Lunch and dinner à la carte menus are available, as well as snacks. Pelagos is an outdoor restaurant and from November to March is only open during the day weather-permitting. 

The farm provides the staple of local fresh produce. 

Facilities:

There is live music most nights in season, barbecues and theme nights. Enjoy water sports, delightful swimming pools with cascading waterfalls, championship golf courses nearby, yoga, pilates, gym and tennis. Anassa has its own luxury sailing boat, diving centre, 15 power-boats for water activities including waterskiing and bananas/tubes, catamarans, windsurfing and jetskiing. Kids are catered for at the Smiling Dolphin Kiddie Club which operates throughout the high season for children from 4-11 years.
