The spa

The first of its kind in Asia, the Oriental Spa is in a class of its own. Described more as a temple for well-being, the journey begins as soon as your shoes are left at the door and you are handed an iced flannel and a glass of cardamom tea.

The spa is situated across the river from the hotel and is housed in a Thai style pavilion beautifully constructed from golden teak wood.

A choice of 50 treatments is available in one of the 14 suites, each with its own private shower, steam room and powerful rain-effect shower heads. Some feature Jacuzzi’s and saunas. The relaxation lounge is the perfect place to relax after the treatment where a choice of classical, jazz or spa music is available to help maintain the state of inner calm.
